Samsung's Galaxy S4 to Include Touchless Technology - Report

If the rumors are true, users won't even need to touch the next generation of Samsung's Galaxy S smartphone to use it.

If the rumors are true, users won't even need to touch the next generation of Samsung's Galaxy S smartphone to use it.

The Korean Publication DDaily is reporting the Galaxy S4 by Samsung can be controlled by touchless gestures in place of taps and swipes so when a user's phone rings it can be answered by simply placing the phone to the ear. This would also presumably reduce surface fingerprints and dirt on the phone's screen.

The S4, said to be a razor thin 5-inch smartphone, is also rumored to have a high-quality 1920 x 1080 resolution screen, 13 megapixel camera, lightning fast 8-core processor and 2 GB of RAM.

In addition to these fancy features, rumor has it the phone will have a touch-free system that will replicate the Galaxy Note II's Airview stylus with a sensor that recognizes when the stylus is over the screen.

No date was given for when the phone is scheduled to reach stores.

DDaily is not such a reliable source when it comes to tech news and leaks. However, the very idea of Samsung including "float touch" technology is very appealing! I am sure they can take the concept and improve on it a bit!

If you guys want more info for you articles I suggest you have a look at http://samsung-galaxy-s4-news.blogspot.com/ since it is a great website about the S4.

Cheers! :-)
